Welcome to Our Father’s Heart!

If you're searching for a relaxed church environment where you can worship, draw near to God and fellowship together, then you’re in the right place. We are a multi-cultural group that will accept you where you are, challenge you to grow in your relationship with God, and stand by you in love.

We commit to pray for you, to listen with compassion, to forgive, to nurture our relationships, disciple and spur you on to love and know God SO MUCH MORE!! “Welcome”, for this is the heart of Our Father’s Heart. We invite you to join us for one of our upcoming services and become part of a group that is passionate and excited about what God is doing.

Our Father’s Heart is a caring, compassionate ministry for the physical, emotional, spiritual healing and restoration of lives. We proclaim freedom to those who are hurting and going through difficult trials through prayer and the preaching/teaching of God’s Word with expectation of miraculous signs following by the power of the Holy Spirit. This ministry also champions prayer in this region and serves as a conduit for the preparation, strengthening and restoration of marriages. Our Services

Our services run approximately one and a half hours, our Saturday Evening Services are designed to help each of us engage with God, grow spiritually, and connect with one another. Daily we are called to worship God, pray, be in His Word, connect with other believers and minister God’s encouragement, inspiration, challenge and forgiveness to one another through testimony and our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that each person will know God better for having devoted the time to worship.

By experiencing God's presence among us we can learn more about his heart, will, and purposes and we can connect with His plan for our lives through faith in Jesus. Through contemporary worship music and projected lyrics, prayer, inspiring and challenging Bible-based messages we invite God to capture our hearts and move us to full devotion in Christ. As we leave we carry His presence into our everyday lives.

We invite you to become a part of a group that is passionate and excited about what God is doing. We use various creative elements like video clips and real life testimonies of our involvements with God, desiring to picture a life of faith in authentic and genuine ways. We hope to make the gospel of Jesus accessible and understandable no matter where we are on our spiritual journey. Some things folks say after they've been in one of our services is they have been in the Presence of God, the message impacted their lives and the worship was anointed.

When is your service?

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month @ 6:30 p.m., but please check our website as occasionally service dates are changed due to Holidays or other circumstances?

Where do we meet?

We Meet At: Love of Christ Church, 513 Philadelphia Road, Joppa, MD 21085 (directions)

From I – 95: Take Exit 74 (Rt. 152) towards Joppa/ Fallston. Make a right onto Philadelphia Road and the church will be on your left. Turn left into our driveway.

You will be welcomed by greeters who will answer any questions you may have upon arriving. We invite you to our fellowship hall for coffee and light snacks after our 6:30 p.m. worship service. (We hope to resume light refreshments after service soon)

We have children?

We do not have any childcare being provided during worship services, but you are welcome to bring your children to the service. We do not currently have a childcare room available, as the church is doing renovations. There is a baby changing table upstairs and a bathroom. We appreciate your patience, as we will have childcare facilities downstairs after renovations are completed. Thank you.

What is your music like?

We sing and worship to a diverse mix of music, from classic hymns in a contemporary style to modern praise and worship songs. We worship to music from artists of many different styles and backgrounds.

What should I wear?

Casual. You will find everything from casual, business casual to the occasional dress or suit. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our only key suggestion is modesty. Thank you.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us, you are our guest and we do not expect you to place any money in the offering. You are welcome to give if you would like, but we only really want to know who you are!

Will I be singled out during the service?

Absolutely not. However, we would like to give you our welcome brochure. There is a section for you to let us know who you are and please let us know if you have any prayer requests.

Inclement Weather

Any changes in our services due to inclement weather will be posted on our website: http://www.ourfathersheartministry.com/ or on our FaceBook page.

COVID 19

We are meeting in person, but we are taking every precaution. We will take your temperature when you enter the building and we do require you to wear a mask when you socialize before and after the service. You may take your mask off, if you want to, once you are socially distanced in your seat. We have shields available for you to use, as well as, hand sanitizer stationed in the back of the sanctuary for your convenience and safety. Your safety is of upmost importance to us.
